As part of WDI's mission to increase international involvement among University of Michigan students, we provide support for select graduate student projects. Among these projects are the WDI Global Impact Internship Program and WDI - International Multidisciplinary Action Projects (MAP) student consulting teams.
WDI Global Impact Internship Program
The WDI Global Impact Internship Program supports partnerships between University of Michigan graduate students and non-profits, businesses, and other organizations in emerging market economies. This year, WDI will again offer two types of Global Impact Internships: student-initiated and WDI initiative-driven.

WDI MAP Projects
WDI organizes a variety of international Multidisciplinary Action Projects (MAP) in conjunction with the Ross School of Business. Through the program, students work full-time with international organizations on projects that focus on the design of an important business process, solving a real business problem, or exploring strategic market opportunities.
